How to Apply

Freshman
The scholarship application will be available online at www.applytexas.org on September 1, 2009. Students must have a A&M-Corpus Christi admissions application processed with the Office of Admissions and Records prior to the December 1st deadline. You may submit the admissions application online or through the Admissions office

Freshmen may submit the scholarship application at tamucc.scholarships.ngwebsolutions.com after the December 1st deadline. Students who submit this application will be considered for scholarships in the second round of awards.

Current/transfer students
The scholarship application will be available online at tamucc.scholarships.ngwebsolutions.com on October 1, 2009.

The following steps will assist you in completing and submitting the application online:

1. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required, unless otherwise specified.
2. If you have no prior college units completed and are not currently a high school senior, it is your responsibility to provide verification of your high school GPA.
3. All transcripts from other colleges attended must be on file with A&M-Corpus Christi prior to the December 1 deadline.
4. Due to the availability of need-based scholarships, you should consider completing a 2010-2011 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) after January 1, 2010. Applying online with FAFSA on the Web at www.fafsa.ed.gov is faster and easier than using a paper FAFSA. Paper applications are available in the Office of Student Financial Assistance or at your local high school counselor’s office.

Students need to complete the A&M-Corpus Christi scholarship application online to be considered for any of our scholarships.  However, some scholarships may require additional documents and/or interviews from their applicants. Please refer to each scholarship criteria for more information. Most scholarships require minimum full-time enrollment (12 hours per semester)
